AUGUST 2 POKER RUN - SANTA'S HIDE-A-WAY -
Santa's Hide-a-way is a home for terminally ill children who may not be around for the next official Christmas. Acres of property are being changed into a place where these children may celebrate Christmas any of time of the year, and have a moment of happiness and good memories. This loving organization received a handsome check from OH VIII Poker Run of August 2nd to help make the transformation possible, and will be receiving more in the future. Part of the transformation is to plant a Christmas tree for each child as they pass on....the parents come back at the official holiday and decorate the tree in memory of their child...remembering the happiness of them being with Santa at the Hide-a-way.
A donation was also made to the Cleveland Police Memorial Society to assist in the support of our Cleveland men in blue and their families.

Approximately 600 bikes were in the parade and 1527 at the convention.
